Governing Council

The Governing Council is responsible in conjunction with the Principal and staff for decision and policy making. Areas in which Council participates are school finances, the election of school captains, the selection panels for the Principal and staff employed by Governing Council.  Governing Council has a responsibility for the running of the Canteen and Out of School Hours Care.  Meetings are held twice a term on an evening suitable to the majority of Councillors.  Our meetings are friendly and informal and everyone’s views are valued.  Positions are for a two-year term.

The Council’s Annual General Meeting is normally held in March.
