The Governing Council is responsible, in conjunction with the principal and staff, for decision and policy making. They advise on areas such as school finances, the election of school captains, the selection panel for the principal and staff employed by Governing Council.
The Governing Council is responsible for the running of the Canteen and overseeing the Out of School Hours Care program. Meetings are held twice a term on Monday evenings of weeks 3 and 7. Our meetings are formal yet friendly and everyone’s views are valued. Positions are for a two-year term.
The Council’s Annual General Meeting is usually held in March.
Airdale Primary School acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands that are used by the school, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
